The boy currently has his two bottom front teeth, and the right top front is just about finished breaking through the gumline. As Chris was tickling him into a total giggle meltdown, he noticed that the surrounding gum looks awfully red and bumpy.

We were watching the NFC Championship game tonight and I guess we're not quite used to using our inside voices sometimes. Every night after the boy goes to bed, Chris organizes his toys into a little Peanut-sized amusement park. He stacks the blocks into walls and pyramids and ziggarats, lines up the stuffed penguins alongside Boo Bear and Charlie Brown, and drapes the blocks wagon and animal train with blankies ( Read more... )

Or at least it's going to be for a while. Snow and freezing rain are in the forecast for today and again over the weekend. I guess the calendar has finally figured out that it's almost wintertime. The boy is absolutely fascinated by what's going on outside his window!!
